Hephzibah Rendle-Short

On finishing a practice-led doctorate in Painting at the Royal College of Art (2012), in which I used Lacanian psychoanalysis as a theoretical lens, I turned my attention to the lens itself and started training at the Centre for Freudian Analysis and Research (CFAR). I became a member in 2017. I continue to be involved with the regular training program there. I am registered with the College of Psychoanalysis (CP-UK) and abide by their code of ethics, placing importance on confidentiality and non-judgement. I have experience of mental health institutions. I fulfilled an honorary position at an acute assessment unit at the NHS Fulbourn Hospital, Cambridge. At APAS, Nottingham, I worked one-to-one with clients with addictions. I also worked within the reduced fee service at Number 42, London Bridge for many years.
